Team Building
Whichever route you choose to get your team working well together - to
build the kind of team you want - there are a few key elements to
consider that are crucial:
- Creating trust amongst team members
- Allowing differences
- Recognising individual strengths
- Styles and skills
- Keeping lines of communication flexible
- Allowing mistakes
|
Good team building means creating a whole, which is greater than
the sum of its various parts, while still maintaining the integrity of
each individual. So go ahead: throw each other off cliffs, plan
departmental lunches, go away on weekend retreats, but it's how you
use these events which are vital to team building and effectiveness
back in the workplace.
ITS will design a strategy that will gear your team towards working
effectively with each other, while ensuring optimum performance in the
workplace.
Motivation
“What motivates you?”
The variety of answers is vast; it may be money, achieving a task,
family, competitiveness or the sun shining. I think though, it is safe
to say people are motivated when they feel they are making a
contribution.
At ITS, we believe it is important that people recognise their own
contributions in order that they build on them and self improve their
performance. We can’t make people feel motivated, but we can highlight
the benefits of them being who they are and believing in what their
contribution is.
These sessions are highly interactive and inspirational.
